A downloadable project

Having seen superhot VR up close and to some extent experienced it I think it would be cool to have a VR game that incorporates strategy and allows for multiple people to play (Around 1-4 players possibly).

The coolest strategy VR game that I know of right now is YuGioh VR. As a kid watching the cartoon, it was awesome to play the card game in person but there was always the thought of being able to see the monsters physically. While the VR version is not complete I think it shows great potential.

VR YuGioh

For my concept, I think that a more simple version with a similar concept would be more approachable for a larger audience. For this game, any person should be able to play and understand within twenty to thirty seconds.

Please forgive my terrible picture

This would be from a top-down perspective, the players would be facing one another in the game. Each player(s) would have a line on each of their sides. They are given random cards on a set timer and can place them wherever they want along the line. I was thinking different units could interact in different ways when they collide. Whoever gets a unit past the other line wins!

To make this game more fun and use your body more the line would be huge. The player(s) would have to move up and down the line with their physical body to place units. To make the game less focused on strategy and add an element of luck the cards/units are given at random.

Plants Vs. Zombies Walnut Bowling

This is walnut bowling from Plants vs zombies. This is kind of how I imagine the units/cards would be given to players.

To keep the game from lasting too long if both players are skilled I would have the conveyor give cards/units to the player(s) faster and the units would move faster toward the lines. I think this would be both fun for the players and the audience. The players would have to run up and down the line even faster and the spectators get to enjoy the chaos that ensues. It also ensures that games won’t last very long so that more people get to play. In addition, the models used for the units can be anything. For example, the models could be giant monsters that look like the image below. Seeing giant monsters go towards each other I think would make the spectator experience more fun for a first-time showing.
